2.1 Instruments Dashboard Overview

The Instruments Dashboard allows you to view and manage your fleet of instruments.  This is where you will setup (“Commission”) a new instrument and where you will remove (“retire”) an instrument from your fleet.  You can also search, view and export your fleet information.

 

A listing of an instrument fleet is shown below.

 

 

Each row represents an individual instrument.  The information captured and displayed is as follows:

 

Instrument SN

A unique identifier for this instrument. (The instruments are grouped by Intuitive Surgical Model No. ie 470001, 470006, etc.)

Commissioned By

Who commissioned this instrument.

Commissioned Date

When this instrument was commissioned.

Reprocessing Cycles Remaining

Max Cycles - (Logged Cycles + Pre-existing Cycles - Reverse Cycles).  Reprocessing Cycles Remaining is the key cycle-count indicator for compliance purposes.  (see article More Details for definitions of other items)

Max Cycles

The recommended maximum number of sterile reprocessing cycles.

Active?

If an instrument is active, this is “Yes”. If an instrument is retired, this is “No”.  The (exchange icon) allows you to “toggle” the status between active and retired.  See articles Retire an Instrument and Unretire an Instrument for more information.
